i never read these days and it frustrates me cause when i was younger i was always the kid that was into reading and i starting reading way before anyone else in my class and it was always my thing but these days its so so hard for me to find interest in any kinds of books nevermind actually sit down and read them

idk if I’ve told this story before but when I was like 9 years old at summer camp I had a counselor who would tell us these amazing original stories before bedtime, with elves and dragons and wizards and everything. Then like 5 years later we all realized that she had just been telling us the lord of the rings from memory

read it, watch it, talk about it. this is real life portrayed on the big screen and it’s prevalent in today’s society. we need to speak up.
